Homeopathy is a safe, gentle complete system of medicine, with no side effects, based on the principle of “like cures like”. It stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself. It is a complementary therapy which can be used alongside other treatments and conventional medicine.
It can be used through pregnancy, labour, for babies and children, all times of life, it is especially helpful for transitional stages, such as puberty and menopause.
Homeopathy treats the whole person with the symptoms, and not just the symptoms or disease name. During the first consultation you will be asked about what is concerning you most as well as your previous health history and any significant events in your life.
Length of treatment varies depending on how long you have had your symptoms. Time between appointments is generally 4 weeks, I may ask you to check in after 2 weeks to see how you’re doing.
